The 46.70-meter long roof main structures are composed of pairs of cantilevered FiRP^® Glulam beams.  The maximum cross-section is 180 mm x 1720 mm.  Four layers of FARP (Fiberglass-Aramid Reinforced Plastic) provide extra moment strength and additional security against tension cracks on the intermediate posts.  

The FiRP^® Glulam beams were fabricated by ZÖLLIG AG in Arbon, a member of the HÄRING Group, Pratteln, Switzerland.  The structure was erected in February 2001.
